I have an Elkay model # LZS8WS_1C. It's been working normally for 2.5 years. Now when the fountain is activated the water stream flows normally for about 1-2 seconds the quickly looses pressure and barely flows at all. I can let go of the switch and immediately activate the flow again and the again the flow with be normal for a second and then dwindle to a trickle.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Repair the flow control/pressure regulator.

Flow regulator is 61313 or 61314 depending on the unit and color of the regulator spring. Depending on water conditions the regulator may only require removal, soaking in white vinegar, rinsing and replacing. It does contain an adjustment screw. Hoping the material diaphragm is working as designed. Are you operating the fountain using full water pressure at the stop?
Best Wishes

thanks for the suggestions. I do have full pressure at the stop. I removed the regulator and soaked in white vinegar, reassembled but no change. Still get momentary full stream followed by a trickle.
