 forced hot water gas heat
Author: butterfinger1 (MA)

I had my hot water heater replaced this year. The furnace is working because the water is hot. I tried to turn on my heat the other night and nothing came up. It is forced hot water.

You turned up the thermostat ? Did the relay snap ? Is the circulator pump running ? Are the valves on the supply and return in an open position ? What is the pressure gauge reading ?

That gives us absolutely NOTHING to work with to diagnose your problem. You probably need a heating service person at your house.

Are you sure the heat and hot water come from the same source? Chances are you have a gas tank type water heater and a boiler for the heat. Service switch might be off I have gone on more calls the I can count where this is the case
