After I use the hot water in the kitchen sink, I hear what sounds more like a clicking sound and not a drip. When I use the dishwasher, I don't hear it. I have checked every connection and pipe under the sink and there is no signs of a leak. The noise last about 15 minutes, approximately twice every minute or two. I am puzzled. One thing I forgot to say. The kitchen faucets are new, and it is a high arch faucet with two handles.

I'm guessing that it's thermal expansion. The hot water causes the hot water pipe and drain to expand, and this can cause a ticking noise as it expands and contracts as it cools down. Maybe the hot water pipe got pushed against the hole in the cabinet when the new faucet was installed.

Thanks, I will check the position of the pipe to see if it is resting against anything.

I think I MAY have fixed the noise. I moved the drain and water inlet hose to the dishwasher and it has stopped FOR NOW. Have to wait and see. Thanks North Carolina Plumber
