Thankyou, do you know size of the Allen key that fits that screw. I've tried many to no avail.

The AS Colony and Reliant faucets, which are similar to the Fiesta, take a 2.5 mm allen key

American Standard used two ways for attaching the handle to the cartridge. Mostly was a flat blade screw. They did at times use a roll pin which it appears you have. If you look at the previous post you will see items 28 and 28A. those designate the screw or pin. Fortunatly you do not need to remove this handle. Item 5 in the picture is your diverter. It is located below the spout. Remove the spout and you will see a square slotted screw attached to a stainless steel barrel. That is your diverter. Unscrew counter clockwise and replace with American standard
# 12435-07. This is still available. If you have a good parts house you can take it there to be matched. This diverter was used by others at the time and was made by Rinse Quick. The thread should extend 13/16 below the bottom of the diverter body.

Thankyou very much for your exploded view-- AS customer service did not have one! I've now discovered the 1/8 Allen key fits. I examined the spout all round and could not find a flathead screw. Tomorrow I'll dismantle to get to the diverter thanks to your chart.AS have sent me a 030757-0070A which I hope is the same as the one you mentioned. If not where cant I get it?

030757-0070A will not work. American Standard sold the rights to replacements to Tapco (Elias Industries).I would think this sites sponsor purchases from them. If Not Google the part # and "American Standard" and the online sites you see purchase from them.

Well thanks for that!

I have now dismantled lever (with Allen key) removed spout surround by unscrewing body to reveal two PHILLIPS screws which I undid and am not sure now which is the diverter! Anyway since I have to return the one sent by AS I'll re-assemble and wait until i can get the right one. Again thank you
