I have a one piece toilet that was manufactured in Venezuela (3376-V, 25-03-99) and sold by Briggs Plumbing. The left side hinge on the toilet seat has broken off at the porcelain edge (the hole). I cannot find a replacement toilet seat nor the appropriate hinge hardware at any local plumbing supply nor on the Internet. The seat connection does not use a "Pass through" bolt/nut connection. The hinge is plastic and the item that connects it to the porcelain hole is apparently made of nylon with a taped edging to hold it onto the porcelain. Briggs no longer stocks this manufacturer's toilets and has referred me to Kingsley 6080 model toilet seat. That model is not listed anywhere on the Internet. Any assistance in resolving this enigma would be appreciated.

Unfortunately that is what you get when you buy toilets these days. The Manufacturers are reaching the lowest level in quality and it sucks. I would get rid of the toilet and get the one everyone raves about on this site. Unfortunately, the name brand as slipped my feeble mind.
