Ok ladies and gents,
I need some help, please.
I recently purchased (from Home Depot)a universal tip toe trim kit, which included a push-toe drain stopper and overflow plate.
I successfully removed the old moen stanadyne push-pull drain stopper.
I used a long plastic zip-it and my hands to remove hair and debris from the pipe.
In the process, I found a corroded ring that, during removal, broke into three pieces.
The piece was resting on top of the pipe -- just below the cast iron bathtub drain opening.
I think it was probably used so the pipe wouldn't touch the tub -- providing a cushion between the two.
Can anyone tell me what this part is called?
All help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Shan

IT is the gasket that keeps the drain from leaking into the ceiling.
