Second line out of drain on bathroom sink
Author: Philnkaye (TX)

I replaced the faucet on my bathroom sink today and in doing so I wound up breaking a pipe coming out of the wall. This PVC pipe exits the wall and is attached to a flexible hose with a screw clamp. The hose is then attached to the main drain line. The PVC pipe broke off about one inch from the wall. My question is this: what is this line for and how do I go about fixing it?It looks like I would have to remove the vanity to get behind the wall to see where the pipe attaches.
