My home is an older farm house that has 3/4" inlet lines reduced from 1.5" at the pump to the house, and further reduced to 1/2" to the fixtures. I constantly have water pressure problems, so I am upgrading from a 1/2 hp jet pump, with a flow rate of 10 GPM to a 1 hp jet pump with a 15 GPM flow. If I increase the size of the water lines to 1", and reduce to 1/2" at the toilet, sinks, shower, etc., will my pressure increase? I currently have 30 lbs. of pressure, but want 40-50 lbs.

no, pressure is constant no matter how big you make the main pipe.
you will, however, have more volume which will help.

It will only help volume if you are using multiple fixtures at the same time. If only using one fixture at a time you would not be able to tell the difference between a 3/8" pipe or a 1 1/2" pipe.

Will you be sizing the jet assembly to the increased horsepower of the pump? Have you considered a submersible pump vs. jet?

My water supply is a spring, where the pool depth is only 3 feet maximum. My run to the pump is about 200 feet, rising up an embankment approximately 20 feet higher than the water supply, and then it runs through a whole house filter before entering the house, due to the high content of mica. There has been a jet pump here since the 1950's. Also, my spring is shared with 2 neighbors who have cisterns. Both of them receive what is left after I draw my water. The spring has never run dry, and produces more than enough for all. I could use a submersible pump if I install a cistern system, but it is not cost effective.
