 Water leaks
Author: LoveByrds (FL)

Im currently experiencing water leaks in my downstairs apartment. There is often water pouring from the bathroom ceiling vents, the bathroom wall socket, and recently shorted out power in the entire apartment with the exception of one bedroom. The floors are often flooded and one of the bedrooms carpet repeatedly wet. Once water has even poured from the stove range top onto the stove while I was cooking. I have repeatedly reported it, and last week the sockets and wiring had to be replaced in order to restore power.Maintenance said that a leaky faucet was discovered upstairs and repaired. Then yesterday I just came home to water coming from the bathroom socket and it seemed to be coming from inside the hallway wall. Now this morning I have a flooded bathroom and water coming from the ceiling vent.Uugh..ive only been here 4 months and ready to move if somebody doesn't fix this issue! What is going on?

yours is not a problem that can be identified over the internet.
an onsite inspection by a competent plumber is what is needed.

This doesn't sound like a minor problem, if you have a major water leak with water coming out of the electrical fixtures it sounds like a major safety risk with property damage already having occurred. A pipe may be leaking behind a wall, who knows. If your landlord doesn't immediately call a plumber I would take some pictures and call your local housing inspector or local authority.
