We had a friend replace our laundry pump (little giant) a couple months back. Worked great for a month now leaking again. If I unplug the float it works fine but I dont really like letting it run through the whole cycle, afraid I might burn it out. He said the float needs to be adjusted but I can't get him to show up to fix it. Is it something I can adjust myself? I don't really have time to sit for the whole cycle and plug/unplug it with a toddler, full time job, and a new baby in a couple weeks. Thanks.

Have you considered visiting Little Giant's website and download the instructions? Or you may just call the company and ask.

Are you sure there is an adjustable float? Little Giants, especially their laundry pumps, use a switch that is pressure activated.
