A couple months ago, I noticed something sticking out of one of the holes in the rim in the very front of the toilet bowel at the top. I tugged on it, and had to pull with quite some force. It ended up being a fake flower. Well today, the same exact thing happened, different type flower. Funny thing is, we don't even have anything near what I pulled out in the house anywhere. No children live here, although my boyfriends grandchildren visit on occasion (two and four year old). Could this be something that has been in there for years? How the heck does something like that even get in there?

Once upon a time, the flower pot was on the tank lid and a few petals had fallen off onto the lid. The 'man of the house' needed to have a look inside the tank, removed the lid, and a few petals fell in. Being a guy, he didn't think any harm was done and even if they were flushed, they would end up in the bowl and right on down the drain, right? So he left them alone and years later you stumbled upon them in a most peculiar place.
