Installing Water Booster Can i use Pex for connections?

Ok My Mother has 28psi from the city to her house which is over 30 years old I want to install a water booster to get her pressure up to around 45 psi finally my question is when installing the unit can I use pex and bites to make the connections? I do not know how to sweat pipes and don't want to mess this up for her. I am also remodeling her bathroom. I will check this forum also thank you for your time.
