My sink has got a very big problem. I don't know why there is a problem of water in it. I tried many times to make it proper. The water does not go properly. and also there is a smell in my sink. please help?

I hate when that happens. Usually its a user error. Can you provide us with pictures of your sink and drain. Is this your house or apartment?

if this is a bathroom lav most likely your pop up assemble/ stopper is clogged full of hair/biogunk/soap leading to a clog right there in the tail piece and causing the smell. The best solution is to have a qualified plumber removed the flange/tail piece/ pop up assembly clean with a dilute bleach solution and reassemble OR replace the entire assemble if any parts are damaged/broken or if it's a cheap plastic assembly.
