 Easton Leaky Faucet Repair Help
Author: drewg (NY)

Hello, I have an easton faucet in my kitchen, and it's been leaking for quite awhile, and I would finally like to fix it. I bought the necessary parts needed to fix it, however I have no idea how to take off the top casings to get into the actual parts themselves. I've tried pulling, twisting, jiggling... I've tried basically everything in trying to get something to come off, but nothing has budged. The faucet handles have little holes in them, as I show in the pictures, but they don't do anything to help get the handles off. If anyone can offer me any assistance in getting into the faucet, I would really appreciate it. Thank you

'deep' in the little holes are located 'allen' drive set screws

Thank you very much, I was able to unscrew a tiny allen set screw from the cold water handle, and I had to use a T10 screwdriver head, but I was able to unscrew the hot water handle set screw as well. The hot water handle came off, but I'm having trouble with the cold water. I think it's just got some grime build up. Either way, thank you for your help

If by T10 you mean a Torx10, then you used the wrong driver. Allen keys only for allen (hex) recesses.

Yes, I'm aware of the different drivers. The one allen set screw was warped, so my allen wrench wouldn't fully catch and turn it. So as a last ditch effort, I tried the T10, and it worked.
