 Mobile home drains overflowing

I've been struggling to fix this to no avail. A few days ago I was doing laundry and during the drain cycle hear bubbling noises from the bathroom, and find my toilet emptying and my shower filling up with grass and water? Bought a rather short snake I can attach to a power drill, tried using it in both the shower drain and washer drain. Plunged the toilet and shower. Seemed ok, but next day had the same issue. The large amount of water the washer uses seems to be triggering the overflow.

My landlord came and snaked like a hundred feet on her end (unhooked my trailer from the ground and snaked down into the ground) with no issues. Nothing we try is working. Also, we can't get the snake very far into the shower drain. There's a bend or something we can't get past.

What else can I try? There's gotta be a blockage somewhere.

There is, but neither you, nor the landlord, know where it is, so therefore, you do NOT know where or how to snake it, and your little drill powered snake is a toy that would do absolutely NOTHING to cure the problem.

I hate when that happens. You have tried your best... without success. The computer doesn't offer us, what you see. Have you considered hiring a licensed plumber with the right equipment for the best results?

Best Wishes

The stoppage could very well be somewhere between your efforts and the landlords' efforts.

Thanks I very well may have to hire someone, but I'll have to wait just over a week for my dad (the owner of the trailer) to return

Ok, hj, but then what do you suggest? I also borrowed a 50ft manual snake that hasn't helped, but again we can't get past the bend under the shower.

There is a trap right at the bottom of the shower, you won't get a snake through there. Since the landlord "disconnected" you from the park sewers, and she found no clog on her end, that would indicate that the clog is in your plumbing. Try disconnecting your unit again from the park sewers and inserting your drill-snake into your side of the plumbing from that direction.

Interesting that you saw grass coming up in the shower, that would almost suggest a break in the line somewhere, unless you were doing wash with grass in it....

Yeah I thought the grass was strange too, but underneath the trailer is completely dry. Well try snaking it from that end, but right now it seems ok so maybe we did shake it loose somehow.
