Hi everyone,
Kind of facing a dilemma that I have never seen before. In my bedroom everything works fine with the master bathroom but in my guest room and guest bathroom next to my master bedroom upstairs my hot water works fine for the sink however when I turn the water on cold for the tub it works fine however when I turn the water over to hot it just dribbles out to the bath tub. When I pull up on the lever on top of the bathtub faucet to transfer the water to the shower the cold water works fine as well but the hot water turns to a dribble of water is all when turn all the way over to the most hot setting.
When I turn the knob to the center the water works fine and when I turn it to the left towards hot it works up to a certain point and starts to reduce the pressure to absolutely nothing after that.
Any ideas on how I could troubleshoot the problem? Or what it most likely is and how to fix it?
Thanks
Edit:
My house is about 13 years and I have lived here for 9 years. I believe the shower has never been changed other than the faucet and looking at the knob it says the brand is Moen. Don't know if that helps.

It is probably a problem with the balancing spool and you need a new cartridge.
