Outside spigot
Author: oretom (FL) Renting a house... The hose spigot has threads too narrow to screw in a garden hose... The spigot has a green oval water shut off wheel... I tried an adapter 3/4" male hose thread X 3/4 in FIP... It's too tight to screw on... Any help will be appreciated...

Author: hj (AZ) IF an "adapter" would work, it would have to be 3/4" FEMALE hose x 3/4 male hose.

Author: oretom (FL) A garden hose must have a vacuum sealer??? Don't see the need when just filling a child's pool or watering flowers... Anyway, I don't understand why the spigot spout threads are incompatible with a common garden hose... They are of a finer or more narrow... Why is that???
