Hello all,
I have a water hose issue, i purchased two new water hoses and they all leak. i even put plumbers tape around the threads of the spigot. the spigot is not dented. but connection is not tight. i took a picture of the leakage, but i won't allow attachments on this site. is there anyone that can spot the issue? leak tends to spill from hose connection.

Maybe the threads on the faucet are fine thread for a vacuum breaker. Can you share a picture of the faucet with the hose removed ?

It isn't because if it were the hose would not even go on to the faucet. More than likely the washer is missing from the hose end, or the threads on the faucet have been stripped.
