My well tested positive for Coliform recently so I sanitized my well yesterday using a chlorine pellet kit. Everything seemed to go well until I turned my water back on today and have little to no water pressure. I'm not sure what I could have done in the sanitizing process to cause this. Could too much debris/grass gotten in to the well to cause some kind of clog? Or some kind of pump malfunction? Any thoughts? It would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a water filter ? Is the pressure low at every faucet ? Does the pump build up to the cut off pressure ?

I do have a filter located right before the water softener. The water is weak from all faucets. Seems to be worse upstairs. It is not weak from the test faucet in the basement.

The chlorine has probably oxidized soluable iron and clogged your filter or softener.
