The "out the side of the building" would be what an inspector might have a problem with.

2" is fine, but it needs to go thru the roof, your local plumbing inspector might grant a variance if you have a very good reason not to go thru the roof. Even if he will let you go thru the side it will still need to extend vertically to above the roof line.

The roof is a half circle, so it will be coming out somewhere on the lower half.
How high should it go?
I am creating BoM for the materials, just don't want to short the guys down range
