Hi,
I have a leaking backflow preventer, just like at [www.youtube.com].
I've bought and installed the check value kit and vent float kit - but the problem is still occurring. Any thoughts? I would think the plastic housing body would be the problem. Any thoughts?
thanks
dave

It would have been exposed to freezing conditions with no winterization. I did replace the rubber check valve disc, plastic check valve seat, rubber O-ring seal, and plastic disc float. Do you mean one of those - or do you mean the 'whole enchilada' needs to be replaced?
thanks
dave
