Hello! We recently had a partial rennovation done to a bathroom. Ever since then the water in that bathroom has been coming out white, bubbly with a chalky/painty feel. After showering it leaves a white residue on the skin. There was another bathroom fully done and some kitchen piping changed as well but the water throughout the house is fine, its just this bathroom following rennovation

only things that were changed were the toilet and floor tiles. a new vent was put up
The water that comes out almost feels chemically and leaves the skin dry

Perhaps during the kitchen water pipe change-out, the softener was bypassed and the house plumbing is now untreated?

Hi, we dont have a water softner at home if thats what your refering to? sorry i am not sure if it's a different softner your refering to.
The pipe that links the toilet to the wall is white, I have to check the material but its shiny, white, gel like looking?
Toilet is slow to flush and sometimes needs to be double flushed.
Intially when I got in the shower to use it the water presure was really low but now its back to normal
