 Whitehaus washer
Author: charliemikeoh (GA)

We have a Whitehaus Collection Vintage III kitchen faucet. It seems to be a well=made faucet, but it started dripping after just one year. We are looking for the washers, but were told the company does not sell those separately and w have to buy the whole new stems ($145 for both). We bought the faucet brand new, sealed, on eBay and Whitehaus made us send a photo of the invoice before responding to our request to buy the parts. I suspect it we had paid full retail price, they would have provided the needed washers. Pretty annoyed by the whole process thus far. We cannot find the parts diagram that tells what size washer we need. Hoping someone else can help us. Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't even trust a diagram to provide the correct size parts needed. I'd take the faucet apart and see exactly what's worn and take the part(s) needed to a supply house and try to find a match.

Whitehaus is based in New Haven, Ct, but claims that it searches the world for its products, means most products are imported and metric. Sources are kept secret so they have created a captured market for repair parts and components. This means that your repair parts will also be metric. As you disassemble your faucet, take individual pictures so you can reassemble your repaired faucet.

Modern faucets do NOT have "washers" so you DO have to purchase the entire stem, assuming it does not have a lifetime warranty, which many also do.
