Hi everyone,
I'm replacing a section of main vertical cast iron soil stack with PVC in the basement. The CI sewer cleanout is remaining in place at floor level.
I am putting a cleanout just above floor level in case I need to remove any blockages higher up.
Would a Test Tee be sufficient? I've seen many jobs with this type of access fitting for cleanout ..... [www.homedepot.com]
Or should I use a Two way cleanout tee? [www.homedepot.com]

That 2 way c.o. is an abortion and should not even be made. Use the test tee.

Just curious - what is wrong with the 2 way clean out?

When you try to snake through it, your snake can go EITHER way and it is very difficult to get it to go the way you want to, assuming you even know that you are dealing with that fitting.
