We live in an older home (built around 1930) and as far as I can tell the bathroom has never been upgraded and still has an old fashioned faucet (no shower). Since this is a rental I can not do any remodeling nor upgrade the existing faucet, but I'd love to know if there is a way to hook up some sort of fitting to the faucet for a hand held shower. I have bought a couple of portable hand held shower kits (the type you attach to the faucet) and they are too large and slip off as soon as water pressure hits. I have went so far as to tape both of the kits to the faucet with Gorilla tape and same scenario, water pressure blows it off. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated as I was in an accident and messed up legs make sitting in a tub impossible. Thank you for any advice.
