 Round offset shower enclosure
Author: JackRI (RI)

Hi all,
I am redesigning a bathroom and have been considering shower enclosures. On a recent trip to the UK I came across several showers that I really liked, in particular this one: [cdn.bathstore.com]
It is a round shower enclosure but it is slightly offset so that it is longer than it is wide, about 32" by 40" so it will fit into a tighter space on one wall but still allow you much more showering space than a 32" by 32" round shower enclosure.
Does anyone know where similar showers are sold in the USA? If not, why? I can't seem to find something comparable sold anywhere. I am hoping that perhaps I am just using the wrong terminology to search for it.
Many thanks for any help you can offer.
Jack
P.S. I don't want a customized shower in this shape, which will likely be much more expensive. (These sell for less than $700 in the UK)

Basically, there would be almost ZERO demand for it, so there is no incentive for a company to set up a production line. Many years ago Swan made a roundish shower unit, but it did not go over. Builders wanted rectangular units that did not waste precious square feet of floor area.
