What is the required pitch for a PVC waste pipe for a kitchen sink and dishwasher?

Unfortunately, this PVC waste pipe needs to cut across my kitchen floor joists 2X10 over 12'. Should I consider cutting say 2 joist to increase the length of the PVC pipe thereby decreasing the # of couplings. The last thing one needs is clogging issues due to the # of these coupling.

I can sister the partially cut joists if it a logical move because I have to open up the floor anyway.

Or can I use Flex PVC pipe to do the job?

Help me please -

let me say, i feel your pain..been there and done that..
1/4 inch per foot is the minimum pitch for a drain.
just cut a bunch of 14 1/4 inch pieces of pipe along with a bunch of couplings an glue them in one by one.
it's not alot of work and will cause you no future headaches..

Elingate the holes and you should be able to insert 28" pieces, by angling them through the holes.
