 Goose neck faucet
Author: Randi (CO)

Hi! My plumber just installed an American Standard goose-neck faucet in my kitchen. Sadly, when it is turned off, it keeps 'dribbling' for about 10 seconds. Just wondering what we need to do to stop the drip? Any suggestions would be appreciated!! smile

If the faucet has a side sprayer, try exercising it a half dozen times on/off.

There is water in the spout from the top of the gooseneck down to the aerator, but it CANNOT get out until air works it way through the aerator and water to break the suction. That takes time and until it finishes there will be dripping from the spout.
