 mobile home tub not draining
Author: fordisfast (FL)

had several plumbers snake the tub 4 times and it drains well but after a couple days it drains to drain slower and slower then stops and always leave 1/2 inch water in the tub they changed the pipes and still no one can stop this problem, this only affects the tub not the sink or toilet in that room and no problems with any other drains in the house. any ideas?

Also this tub does not have a overflow drain

they changed what pipes? your post just makes it seems like you have a clogged tub drain.

If it was re-plumbed recently I would be calling that guy to come solve it.

If it was my home I would check out the underfloor plumbing starting at
the tub shoe, tub trap, tub vent? tub drain to main? check it and look for a place
to run a cable while I'm there.

good luck and if you post a pic of your underfloor plumbing the pros can pretty much
decide without being there if your plumbing is correct or to code.

Not sure what the picture is showing, but you are describing an "air bound" drain.

so it looks like there is an ABS comby looking up for a vent but don't see a trap.
the plumbing looks a little suspect with the transition from
PVC to ABS without the proper transition glue.

is there a vent out thru the roof or is there a mechanical vent?
A broken AAV can cause the air lock.
