is there a way to tell the gallon flush amount a sloan toilet is supposed to have by that I mean the bowl itself also how can I tell the same thing by looking at a diaphragm , How I'm explaining this correctly

The toilet, unless it has a gpf "sign" behind the seat will be a 5+gpf one. The flushometer gpf is controlled by the "relief valve" which determines how high the diaphragm rises.

A Sloan flushometer gpf is determined by the color of the relief valve inside the valve. Much depends on the age of the flushometer and whether its a water saving device.

Toilets that require flushometers, usually have a GPF rating behind the toilet seat, otherwise as suggested, its a 3.5-5 GPF toilet.

On the backplate of the toilet should be some markings too.
