Author: Xrouter (PA) current location has toilet with less than 20inches from bathroom door. I want to move it which would place it approx. 8ft from the soil stack. There is a shower wet vented approx. 3 feet to the current drain. What if any venting needs done?

Author: North Carolina Plumber (NC) The distance from the stack is not relevant, the distance from the toilet to the wet vent is what you'll need to be concerned with. Here in NC under UPC the vent has to be within 8' of the toilet.

Author: hj (AZ) "distance" is only ONE of the requirments. HOW the toilet and other fixtures are arranged, and their vents, will determine what you have to do.
