Hello i am having a bit of a sewer problem my house is old built in 1959 a pipe broke on the sewer line just one line, the pipe that broke is part of the shower i went to lowes to rebuild it put the new pieces on flush the toilet it back up into the shower i went ahead and took the pieces off the kitchen sink is part of the main line going to the septic tank now when i use the kitchen sink the water back track to the area that the pipe broke from that i put the new parts on can anyone help me thank you.

When you say sewer and refer to the shower pipe, the shower pipe is part of the building drain. The Sewer is outside of the building and connects to the street or a Septic Tank. You can also help by explaining with a photo so we can understand your problem. Take a photo and post your question again.

yes the shower is connect to the main drain line and the main drain line runs to the septic tank which the kitchen sink on as well.One long pipe from the toilet, shower, washer, sink, septic tank.
