Need help figuring this out.
I have a new home of two months. the outside hose bibs are the frost free style hose bibs. And my plumbing lines ares plastic. I have measured pressure on both of my hose bibs. One goes from 80 to 120 with a pressure gage screwed in.The other goes from 60 to 80 pounds with the pressure gage screwed in. My problem is that when I use a hose and sprinkler on either hose bib I get very little water out of a sprinkler. Maybe a 6 foot radius. I have tried different style sprinklers and have the same effect. It would appear I am not getting any pressure when the hose is hooked to the hose bib. I have checked that all water shutoff values are all the way on.
My warranty plumber stated the problem is the frost free hose bibs and to install the old style hose bibs.

Your plumbing (PEX?) to the faucets is probably undersized which allows a good pressure reading on your gauge but doesn't permit adequate volume.

there is no reason why changing the faucet will give you more volume. as my friend from MD says, undersized piping will cause this.

the lines in my house are pvc. the main line is the flex line stuff. Is it the main flex line that is the issue with flow?

The pressure should NOT go from "80 to 120", and it should be the same at both hose faucets. It should go to the systems pressure and then STOP, so there is something else going on, possibly a failing pressure regulating valve.
