Have a 4500 watt, dual element, 40 gallon electric water tank that is connected to a dual 15 breaker with 12/2 wire. My questions are: is dual 15 ok or should it be a dual 20 and could that be the reason for having to reset water tank frequently, and would this have anything to do with the water pressure?

EDITED
dual 15 is NOT, repeat NOT, OK
must be dual 30, NOT 15 or 20
wire gage depends on 'length of run'
if local to panel, probably OK
if over 20 feet I would suggest 10 gage
