Shower Cartridge
Author: EndeavorDIY (CA) HI ALL, I have a shower that is slowly dripping. I've been trying to remove the cartridge out but having a difficult time. I've tried to pull and twist it, but it does not move. I am worried about applying too much force given it is made of plastic. It has GJ-A112-5 marking on it. Picture of cartridge: I would appreciate any thoughts or help. Thank you Andrew

Author: srloren (CA) Be sure to turn the water main off where it comes into the house and you should be able to unscrew the chrome piece by turning it counter clock wise. Then you should be able to access the cartridge. It may be difficult to get a grip on the chrome piece but it appears that is what you need to do. Good luck.
