Iron Pipe Straight (IPS) Threaded PVC Fittings
Author: rahdrd (FL)

I am trying to find 2" Male and Female (IPS) Iron Pipe Straight Thread PVC Fitting. These seal via a gasket and NOT tapered Threads. These are typical of thru-hull fittings and pool hose fittings. All the Electrical and Plumbing fittings at the Big Box stores are all tapered. Any Idea where I may find these. Thanks, Rahdrd

Electrical fittings should be straight thread.

Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately, They are not. I have received fittings from an Electrical Supply House (their spec sheet even called the threads IPS). They were actually tapered when I received them. Same with the fittings from Home Depot. The Jamb nuts are looser at the top and snug at the bottom. Any other ideas? I'm at my wits end. Thanks, Rahdrd
