ok current toilet sits almost tight to wall,,,going to replace due to age...looking for best operating new toilet but also want it to sit close to wall due to space...
Most I see sit like 3 or 4" away...
Current is 12" from wall to flange bolts....ides ??

NO 12" toilet would sit 3" to 4"' away from the wall on a 12" rough opening. 1/2" to 3/4" would be the norm, and even that depends on how the manufacturer makes the toilet. If you have a specific dimension in mind, you have to physically MEASURE the toilets until you find one that fits.

Look at the side of the toilet and see the waterway. If it has sharp bends or 90 degree angles at the floor, it WILL plug up.

good choice. But do you need the insulated tank. If you want just the regular one it would be the CST743s. You only need the insulated tank if your toilet "sweats" due to the fact your bathroom is really hot.

Go to google and find a supply house. You definitely will not find it in the box store. If you order online, good luck getting it in one piece.

i think SHEPLMBR70 was refering to getting the toilet in one peice as oppsoed to getting it in 500 broken, smashed pieces.
yeah, stick with the 2 piece toto, they are great toilets.
if you have to go to a big box store for the toilet, get a kohler..
