I am replacing a wall mount toilet with an American Standard Glenwall. A neoprene drain gasket is recommended so I purchased one but have a concern that I am hoping for some advice with. Here is the issue; the copper 4" drain hub is out of square with the wall by 3/16" and the gasket I purchased is made out of a dense, spongy material that does not feel like it would compress enough on the close side to seal on other side. I looked at the type that inserts into the hub but am concerned that it would reduce the drain diameter which concerns me with the low volume pressurized flush of this toilet. Your recommendations on a seal that would address this particular issue would be greatly appreciated.
FWIW, several years ago I had the drain seal replaced due to leakage. I was dealing with some back issues so called a plumber to do the repair. I have now found that he used wax and suspect it was either a thick ring or two regular rings based on the amount I removed.

The neoprene gasket SHOULD work, but the only way to tell is to try it. A wall mount toilet requires a "special" wax ring labeled "for use with a wall mount toilet".

Those are the ones marked "for use with a wall mount toilet", which is why they DID work for you.

Thank you for the responses. I think I need to find a wax ring with fiber because the online images I have seen of the Zurn Neo-Seal look very similar to the Pro-Flo one I purchased which I just don't feel will compress enough on one side of the hub to seal on the other side.
