 faucet for pedestal sink
Author: PrettyLake (FL)

Just purchased new faucet for pedestal sink. The stem/shank or whatever it is called is considerable longer than the one being replaced. If installed as is, the stem/shank or whatever will be visible below the bowl as will the water supply lines. My question is: do I need to purchase a specifically designed faucet for a pedestal sink or will the plumber cut the stem/shank to make it shorter and then solder the fittings back on. Thanks in advance for any help or advice.
