Can't find remote (in-line) 3/4" Pressure Balancing Valve
Author: sjpSanDiego (CA)

I'm using a Kohler DTV (digital showering system) and have temperature fluctuations when the water is used anywhere else in the house. I found the Grohe 35204000 but it's 1/2" and the Kohler requires 3/4" high volume. I've called Kohler but they don't have one and I've searched online but cannot find 3/4".

Thanks but no. The Symmons valve is a mixing valve. The Grohe example is what I need - it has both cold and hot inputs and cold and hot outputs. It just regulates them in case the pressure drops on one side (like someone flushing the toilet) and keeps the pressure on the other side in sync

Do you know the GPM that you need? Here's a ½" model, but it claims 12GPM, where all the others I've seen are around 5GPM.

The Grohe may have 1/2" in and out, but if you saw the size of the openings INSIDE the valve, you would realize how much the flow would be restricted, even if you used it for a 1/2" valve. I have two of them that I removed. The customer would prefer a pressure imbalance to the small flow he got with the valves in the lines.
