I'm trying to figure out where the condensate and pressure relief valves are supposed to drain to.
I'm installing a tankless water heater in the laundry closet that is in the middle of the house (not on an outside wall).
What I'm thinking to do is put a wall mount drain pan under the heater and then y into the washer stand pipe. Would this be OK?
Can someone explain what is the proper way to deal with these?
Thank you!

i would cut the standpipe down short and use a 3 x 1 1/2 coupling upside down like a funnel with a piece of 3 inch pipe in it. the stick the washer hose in it and run the condensate drain and relief valve overflow to it but leave them 1 inch above.

Remember that your tankless will have to be flushed once a year to remove barnacles and you should consider a drip pan mounted directly under the tankless.
