where can i get this part?
Author: isobig2016 (PA)

Hi guys. I posted a few days back asking for help identifying a tub faucet. Thanks again to all who helped. Seems to be Sears brand (made by universal rundle possibly) from the 1950's or so. I took the valve stem out and noticed it needs to be replaced. The metal cup is corroded on the edges ( pieces missing) where you put the rubber washer. I have searched online but can't seem to locate this part.

Anyone know where I can get one? It is the hot side. I probably wont be able to get to the local plumbing supply until the weekend and I am doubtful they will have something like this in stock anyway.

Try Google searching "sea2006 sears stem" and scroll down the arpny .pdf

they actually make a replacement "cup" for faucet stems.
you file off any remains of the factory "cup" and install a new one. some have a washer in them and some come a just a tiny stainless, well, what looks like a dog dish with a hole in the center for the bibb screw.
i keep a bunch of these. they are called swivel head washer. no screw needed.
