Our fresh water pipes are making a howling/moaning noise when ever we run water. it happens in all/any valves and the only way to stop it is to open another valve. It never used to do it and we have not a clue as to what changed...HELP!

Do you have a water softener or a pressure reducing valve on your main line? Either of these can cause that sound.

No water softener and not aware of a pressure relief valve but we will check in to it. We may have to resort to calling a plumber. Not to good at DIY plumbing problems. Thank you for responding
