 secondary drain clog?
Author: dubtub104 (UT)

Every time we drain a full sink upstairs a pool of water starts coming out of the cement floor in the basement. (not the floor drain which is nearby but seeping out the actual floor from under a wall and built in cabinet) I have ruled out the problem being in the wall because the drain doesnt go anywhere near there and there is no plumbing in the wall. I can see the kitchen pipe going into the floor about ten feet away and the main drain pipe is on the other side of the basement, about 20 feet away and the leak is between the two. So I am assuming there is a break in the secondary drain line on its way to the main. Question- If this break was caused by a clog will snaking the drain all the way down fix this or should I expect to have to dig into my cement floor and foundation?

You will need to open up the floor and make the repair.
