Having issues with both toilets in house. They are seating back to back in 2 bathrooms. Seems to be a air lock issue, both will not flush just fills bowl up with water. After setting for a while one starts bleeding down the other has a couple air bubbles gruggling up from drain about every 30 seconds. The problem usually only happens on one toliet and after a while it works fine. But every once in a while both do this. I am stumped.

Are you willing to have the line snaked to clear a blockage..... Are the toilets affected by solids or liquids as well?

5his has been going for a while like I said most of the time only in master bath, All other drains in house work fine and after some plunging and some time it works ok for several weeks or even months. This time it started last night in master guest bath word fine but did hear some gruggling. Then this evening neither would flush. Plunged guest bath and it flushed once and then it won't on second flush. While this was going on master bowl stayed full.I ran a 6 ft auger down both toliet which probably both got to main line

either you or a pro will have to remove a toilet, clear the blockage and reset the toilet.

It doesn't matter if liquid or solids and now late last night the guest toliet is working fine. That is why I was think I ng it was something more than just a blockage. I am planning on removing master toliet and running a snake. In the summer I even got up on roof and ran snake down the vent line but hit no resistant.

You may need the expertise of a sewer camera and a person who knows how to operate it. Plunging forces the solids further into the line. Make sure you are there to see what they are doing.

Was the vent thru the roof at least 2" Pipe size? If it is 1 1/2" vent, then it is too small and starves the toilets for air. Just a thought but only a rank amature would run an 1 1/2" vent for toilets. Keep us posted on your fix.
