Question about permit
Author: 504grand (NY) Hello - I live in NY and our plumber's permit expired. He has failed a few inspections on our job, and his permit just expired. In order for him to fix the problems from the failed inspections does he need to pull a new permit to continue the work? Thank you so much!

Author: packy (MA) i would think that is a question for the office of inspectional services. may be they can issue a new permit at no fee since it is not your fault. in any case it is illegal to do work without a valid permit.
