I have a Mansfield toilet that continues to fill just a bit every 30 to 60 minutes. I know I am leaking water from the tank to the bowl because I confirmed that with a dye tab. The leak is slow because the fill only lasts a couple of seconds. I have replaced the flush valve and fill valve, and still have the same problem. I used Fluidmaster parts from the home improvement store. I'm not sure what the fix is for this problem. Any thoughts? Thanks!!!

There are a few different types of Flush Valves. You need to be sure the one you choose will not leak through. Many times thee is a growth of algae on the seat of the flush valve, you can remove it by wiping it off with your finger. Also make sure that you have the chain adjusted properly with the excess chain removed so the clip hangs from the handle free and clear, no hang ups so to speak. For most installations I prefer Korky, the blue one that has the float that is adjustable or you can insert it into the rubber flapper. Good luck.

Not sure how old your toilet is but consider using factory original repair parts.
Turn the water off at the wall or floor STOP and flush the toilet, while holding the handle down until the tank is almost empty. Feel the area around the flapper and the flush valve base. Feel for rough spots on the base and if the flapper falls apart in your hand, consider replacing the flapper with an original part.
Best Wishes
