Hi guys, we have just fitted a Grohe eurosmart single lever faucet & there are 3 hoses on the faucet, hot inlet, cold inlet & a cold return?
I was told to blank off the cold return if not required, which I have done & connected the hot & cold hoses.
When I switched the water back on, the faucet was running constantly & I only had hot water, whatever position the lever was in.
Any help would be appreciated

You were told ..... by who? Do you have a copy of the installation instructions?

"Cold return"? What's that? It sounds like it should be a hose/port for a sprayer. Any chance the hot supply is connected to what is actually a hose/port for a sprayer?
