 Clogged Symmons Shower Valve
Author: LostApprentice (CA)

Got a Symmons shower valve with low pressure. Stem and seats have been taken out but low pressure continues. Issue with sediment build up in faucets recently make me suspect the shower valve is clogged up now. What's the best way to unclog a Symmons shower valve? Never had to do it before and trying to run water pressure to blow it out didn't work.

Symmons Valve makes several different shower valves. Which one do you have? You have to remove the spindle, hot seat and cold seat to do the job correctly. Did you remove the hot and cold seats. Does your valve have strainers on the stops?
