I just replaced a 4" bathroom sink faucet. Supply lines all tight. I have a leak coming from the middle hole under the faucet. Plumber thought I had a defective faucet. Exchanged but now have same issue. Any thoughts?
Thanks

Defective faucets are about the only way you could have water at that point, assuming your description is accurate.

Water is dripping down the lift pin and Clevis strap under the sink. I can see water dripping out of middle hole when under the sink

check to make sure the aerator is tight and not plugged.

A loose aerator was my first thought as well. That's the point of the most restriction and if it's loose water will spray from around it and can run back down into the faucet body, onto the sink ,and drip down thru the center hole.

The answer to your question could be in the brand and model of your 4 inch faucet.
What brand and model?
